I want to help you feel good in your body!

My passion in life is to bring strength and confidence to the body and mind through food and activity.

I approach my practice through a weight-neutral lens, following the philosophy and principles of HAES (Health at Every Size) and Intuitive Eating. I understand the negative health implications of weight stigma and yo-yo dieting and do my best to diminish their impact on an individual and systemic level.

I have a bachelors degree from Linfield College in Exercise Science, a masters degree from Tufts University, Friedman School of Nutritional Science and Policy in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition, and I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist licensed in the state of Oregon. I am a Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Coach through Girls Gone Strong and a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor.

I spend my free time with my husband & spirited daughter, experimenting in the kitchen, engaging in outdoor recreation, and supporting our local food system.

My Exercise Philosophy:

Exercise is a natural high! Research shows a strong connection between activity and mood, as well as disease prevention and overall better health. From adolescence to menopause; general functionality to training for the next Tour de France, we must find the movement that works for you to optimize your well being and performance.

My Food Philosophy:

Food should not only nourish our bodies, allowing us to move, think, breath, and live, but it should taste good and be enjoyed. Everyone must eat. Every day we choose what we will put into our bodies to satisfy our cravings for nutrition and to keep ourselves alive. If we can effortlessly make the food choices that will keep us happy and healthy, we can live longer and more fulfilling lives.
